Brakes for 15" 2118's

  172 Cup
Hello All,

As above really, i have a set of the 2118s, ET38 i think the low ones are?

What experience do people have of these wheels with brakes. Which have fitted under them and where are people buyinh from?

Cheers

which 4pots do you have?

yes ALuco they are only 280 or 285 something like that as standard. there may be some cheap nasty alloys that will not fit over. There is loads of room on mine though

i found the 4pots gave so much more stopping power than most disc/pad combos out there, massive difference on track and on the road.

the cup racers did ok on the stock calipers, seriously try the PF97 pads, you won't believe the performance

PF97's are insane for a standard caliper set-up, the braking power is more than enough IMO....

you will be head butting the windscreen if you stand on the brakes ;)

hi there! ;)

NOTE - these are full on f**k off race pads, the dust is horrendous and will stick to your wheels and bodywork (tis a lovley shade of pink too), if you're a track day boy you won't care about this though

Didn't find them too bad, used to give the wheels a once over after a track day and .... hey presto!

Pm me with a price please ;)

Not fussed about the dust tbh, wheels and bodywork are shagged anyways! Only running standard pads at the moment but looking to try out some more aggresive pads.

hhhmmmm interesting. dust is fine i suppose. track wheels will just have to dye from dust. Dust on bodywork can be sorted with a clay bar!

hhhmmmm may free some money up for maybe a cage.hhhmmmm

i ran the pf97's in my willwood calipers, awesome pads, dust is a mare tho, ok if your into cleaning your wheels but im not into that, the 2118's were proper stained

I'll try and sneak the words 'Carbon Lorraine' in without Fred noticing :p

Never tried PF97's, but if they're as good as CL's then go for it! You definately don't need 4pots with these pads on, stamp on the pedal and the harnesses dig into your chest like a b*****d!

I run PFC 97's in my Jamsport Wilwood 4 pots and bloody love 'em best pads but the brake dust is crazy and they do eat discs.

IMHO they are so worth it though.

:)
