Kestrel DAS-6, Good investment?

Car  'Berg Sold, Cupra-R
I'm considering in investing in a Kestrel DAS-6, this will be my first DA Polisher so looking for some advice to make sure i'm not slipping up and just wasting my money.

Have been looking at this....

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polis...al-action-polisher-menzerna-kit/prod_522.html

And.......

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polis...polisher-sonus-and-menzerna-kit/prod_525.html

Would either of these be all I need to get started or what other pads/products would I require? Been looking through other threads but keep reading different things and just end up confused.

Any help or guidance appreciated.

Cheers

Dan

The DAS-6 model sold by CYC is not a Kestrel.

Although it is from the same factory in China, not sure on CYC warranty but all Kestrel branded DAS-6s come with a one year warranty and have access to the Kestrel UK service and repair centre.

Have to say the DAS-6 its a great little machine. :approve:

Took the plunge and ordered the Menz kit 1 with extra 80mm spot pads and a 3.5" backing plate. Will give it a blast when the weather smartens up abit.

Cheers for that mate, suppose ill end up ordering more stuff once i get the knack of it. Just realised I've only bought one 80mm finishing pad! D'oh!

I'm considering making the most of the sale prices and taking the dive to purchase a DA too...I know I've got very light swirls, so should I stick with the same as Dan29's and get another couple of pads?

What cut is Menzerna Power Finish PO 203 S?
