Its ugly and Apple dont do ugly. Its some crappy hiphone from taiwan. Dave H's gf's probably have tree of them.

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

Not a fan, but I know it won't stop me upgrading.

This term made me LOL.
He loves the iPhone.

And because it's thinner, it feels even nicer in your pants.

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

According to Steve Jobs on Twitter he fired 30 people today - coincidence? (Thats if it's the real Steve Jobs)

I would probably upgrade if that's how the new iPhone looks, although still think my white 3GS looks nicer!

Lol anyone whose 'claiming' to be Steve would know what's going on with iPhone speculation so blatantely plays up to it!

In my completely un-knowing, and probably wrong opinion:

I think this could just be a "test body", a very bland case which is big enough to hold all of the hardware necessary for the new model, but has not yet been styled, allowing the phone to be fully tested as a working iPhone, but having not being the final model yet.

Either that, or two people will be get fired, the one that leaked it, and the head of the visual design department...

I doubt it, the "review" of it seems to suggest that the components have been made to fi that shell!

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

I reckon that's some sort of cover case with 4 internals. The final may look similar but, to me, currently that doesn't look as sleek and well designed as Apple usually do it.

Prefer my 3GS much more looks wise, but would still have a 4 if it looked like that but had a good upgrade in internal spec as one of the sites assumed.

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

Is it possible at all on any level that apple meant to 'lose' this phone?

Only reason i can think of why they would do this is to get a wider opinion on the phone? Or is that a stupid idea?

just seems a bit strange that an iphone would be lost and conveniently fall into the hands of someone who would plaster it all over the internet?

This has all been beautifully setup/planted by Apple. Someone hold me to it

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

Interesting quote taken from techradar

"But there's a much bigger problem for Apple now - there's never been a leak like this before. If it's real, then next time Jobs takes to the stage, he can only reveal some final specs, and there won't be the hype we've seen in previous years.

"And if it's not real, well, that's an even bigger headache for Apple, as this phone seems to have all the features we've been after for years: a better camera with flash, larger battery and front facing camera for video calling.

"It's a no-win situation for Apple - so it's going to be fascinating to see how it reacts."

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

Why wouldn't they send a letter like that?

It's more plausible than "Sjobs@apple.com" saying

"Hi, We herd u haz teh iphonez

can we has it back please.

Thanxkbye x"

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

Letter is fake as. "Please let me know where to pick up the unit."

Lawyers don't speak like that, and letters like that come from lawyers...

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

Whatever it looks like im having one :) Had my 3G nearly 2yrs now so cant wait.

+1.

I think I read somewhere yesterday that this could be a hand made test rig - i.e. with exposed splits, joins etc to help construction. So could it be that the final model will look a little more sleek and polished?

I still don't think it's real.

Not sure why. Maybe I just don't want to ruin the surprise.

As do i, in a way i think Gizmondo have gone too far.

The article naming the guy that lost it was stupid.

Article naming the guy? Link please.

I didn't believe it was as certain as it is until I read the whole Gizmondo article rather than just skimmed, its actually quite a full, detailed read.

It's growing on me, I just hope it gets a bit prettier.

Yeah, definitely.

Whichever way you look at it though... whether it's real or not, it'll be interesting to watch Apple's reaction.

Yeah i don't understand why they named him, do they want him to die a fiery death?

They could have just stayed on their high horse and let us know they know who it was and release snippets of info.

Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)

at least by naming him, apple can't really fire him, as they'll look like w*****s...more than usual
