Trafic 140dci
as in the title really, dont ask why, its a long story
You can only have 1 insurance policy on a car.
I have time for a long story. Dont start work for another 2 hours.
Sorry, what?
why not transfer 182 insurance on to Van. and wifey insures 'new car'
LOL it'll flag up on their database! Nurr!
yeah its hard to explain, hense why i put long story
if your not supposed to have 2 insurance policys on a car, whats the chances of getting nicked for it?
will they not transfer it over?

Might get flagged on insuarace database and the police are likely to stop you if there's 2 insurances on the vehicle when they look on their computer.
The reason it's illegal is really for protection against insurance fraud, easy to smash up a car and claim twice if you're a dishonest cnut.
as much as that sounds the right option, i'd rather go without a van, let her get a bus than pay what they want to end my policy lolSimple option here, get rid of the 182.![]()
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I suppose. Lesson here: Don't buy what you cannot afford.
How long have you got left on your policy? You can insure a car for a month after you have sold it apparently, i did this when i got rid of my BMW so i could carry the policy onto my next car.
not reading the fine print FTL!
buy a £50 motor (complete heap!), and transfer the insurance onto that!
just leave it on the drive / get it scrapped and get £100 scrap value, and just keep the logbook!
then re-insure the clio!

Or just transfer the policy onto something you know is already scrapped. The insurers won't check.
