How to remove...

I need to get my satnav screen out to test to see if it is knackered, or if it's not working due to bad wiring etc.

Any help would be great.

Remove the dash top as said, should be there for all to see then.

Not at the moment lol, everything has gone wrong at once! :S

Just a quick question... Im going to be having the dash off today hopefully..

Can you drive around without the dash still on? I dont want the airbages to deploy or something.

Talk to Gray hes removed top dashes a fair few times if you need any help. I was going to go down the route of removing mine until i realised the dash rattle was actually being caused by the plastic moulding that surrounds the gear stick because one of the clips in the footwell had popped out.

I've driven without my top dash for ages,

Chrispy has driven around with no dash at all! lol

You'll be fine, no airbags will go off etc just because it's not on. You can either pull the passengers side airbag out easily if your worried about it, but dash or not dash an airbag will always be an explosive force.

Yea I spoke to Gray about it and he said it was fine, but I just wanted to make sure that as soon as I drive without the top dash, the air bag decides to fly into my face lol.

The air bag should only go off if the sensors detect rapid deceleration (i.e; a crash will always stop you quicker than you could possibly stop by braking). Therefore, you'll be fine.

Fook me, we cannot get this dash off... Pulling as hard as we can and it doesn't want to move!

Where are the clips so we know wheere to pull hardest?lol

If it won't come off it'll be the two clips above the passenger airbag, just bang it like 2 inches towards you from the heater vents at the top.

Definatly put it back in, reflections are terrible!

Lol I haven't drove in it yet so haven't experienced the reflections... Didn't been think about that!
