It seems like damage has been toned down even more for the final release. More like Dodgems and trying to counter the on-rails AI.

FLMAO at a head on collision only knocking the front bumper off!!!

I can't defend this game anymore, it's gonna get fed to the dogs when the media start reviewing it.

Do you think it will get slated by all reviewers?

Can you really see Official Playstation Magazine complaining about the 'handling', ultra-realistic damage, tyre squeal, etc?
 
just noticed something else....what happened to the 16 cars? Looks like only 12 there but I bet there is 16 with the lower detailed cars

Realistically, no.

I wish they would though :(

I'm hoping all these videos are decoys sent out by polyphony and the real deal is going to be not only better than the invention of sliced bread but basically the best thing since the dinosaurs!

Not really ruf take a porsche and tweek it, not all have ott bodykits do they? And guess wot amg take a merc and tweek it......and stick bodykits on!

Is that R8 made out of cheese? If anything the bumper should have come off, its like poking cheese... it don't come apart but changes shape.

I still believe this game will be great!

And I highly doubt it'll receive bad reviews. Damage isnt the greatest but its better than nothing or Forza imo.

Hope the next game shows off Burnout like damage!
 
Actually, looking through the car list, they've not done badly considering the tight schedule. Just over a hundred new cars, the rest carried over from GT4... without interior viewpoints.

You just know that with the amazing damage model, that every online race will be full of benders bouncing off each other for position, too. Brilliant.

So pissed off.

Moses was in charge of the sound recording. He recorded the tyre effects next to a fella drowning cats that were on fire.

Bear in mind that they had no ABS on their Skylines when Jesus was knocking about.

He got the job done, mind. And in double-quick time, too. Fair play to the lad, IMO.
 
I'll still judge it on its 'enjoyment' merits, on the basis I'm not a serious gamer that plays games every day of the week.
 
Wheres the damage! It doesnt even look "all that" in hd either.

I've waited for this game since 1992, now I don't even want it anymore. It just seems to be getting sh*ttier, every single piece of information we get.

It will still sell 6 trillion copies...and be compared to Forza 3 despite the fact that came out over a year ago and was developed in 1/80th of the time.

I don't get the Porsche thing either, Forza 3 had plenty of them so obviously EA are willing to share the love (for cash)
 
gonna be total s**t. they have dug themselves into a hole they cannot get out of!
