Battery always draining

Got new Battery fitted, new alternator but when i start car in morning car is completley dead, put jump leads on and starts first time most times...

any ideas whats wrong?

Parasitic drain somewhere.

boot light is not working, so should i change the bulb? or do i leave it? battery was brand new, i think i actually had alternator fixed, but when i checked it it was runnning at 14.5. took sidelights out the other week, could that be a problem?

i would put money on it being the alternator draining the battery through a bad diode, had this on mine charged the battery fine but was pulling half an amp all the time the engine wasn't running. if you have a dc clamp meter clamp it on the alternator wire with all doors shut/engine not running it should be zero. if thats ok clamp it on battery positive lead and start pulling fuses until it goes down
