and while where on about steelies are they a definate no for track use?

Lol. Vauxhall define their models by letters. I think b and c is ~95 - 04??

Why would you want to use them on track?

Iirc center bore for corsa wheel fitment is 56.6 and clio's are 60.1. Corsa wheels won't fit without being bored out to fit correctly. PCD are the same though (4x100).

If I were you go for a renault fitment wheel like the scenic or megane, would be an easier option.

ahhhhhh right lol, still not 100% sure, but you are saying vauxhall corsa steelies from 95-04 will fit? regarding track use, just interested to know if they are any good, i'm presuming its a big NO!? was just thinking to keep costs down, although i have just put 4 hankook rs2 's on my turini's, but i dont want to ruin them

well i dont want to be f**king about with the wheels tbh, do you know if mk1 valver steelies will fit ok?

Yes - Will allow no where near enough cool air to your brakes.

roger that, but surely some wheels such as turbines/19 16v alloys etc have similar spacing in that respect? i am also thinking of some cheap track wheels such as these <<<<<

Yeah they should fit as long as they are 15''+ anything smaller won't fit over the RS brake calipers.

cheers for that :)

Bill if you want 15 steelies in the right offset then souce some willy steelies..

Any other steelies you get will reduce the overall offset but wouldn't matter over winter.

I didn't think using steelies was wrong on track? how do the 106 rallyes go on?

If you look at the turbines they are grooved - IE when the wheel spins it draws air in, like a fan. Thats what i've read on here anyway.

yeah get what you mean, but the valver steelies i have seen have some decent sized whole in them, will try and find a pic
