  Gay Clio 172 phs1
Seeing as clio 172 phs1's have reached a pretty bargin price these days at around £750 - £1500. I've come to the point where I'm unsure if its worth stripping etc.

From what i can see a lot of the phs1's are being bought cheaply and used for track and play toys and will have their interiors taken out. With this in mind and having stripped out pretty much every car I've owned since being 17 would I see a massive drop in price if I decide to sell the clio on after a few months.

A good few of the northwest members know me and the car hence why I've posted in here as opposed to general chat.

Care to explain what he does mean then?

An interior to me is:

Anything which is inside the car other than the controls. Ie Dash, carpet, roof lining, seating, seat brackets, door cards, boot trim, excess metal in door's removed, excess metal in boot removed, so for me to strip a car it would basically have nothing more than two seats, steering wheel, gear selector and a set of pedal. I may leave the dash in but removed all excess shite from it.

Pmsl, 'interior' doesn't mean 'rear seats' Alex.

You can still put everything back in within reason which I think is what Alex meant, I however aren't that organsied and the majority of it is in a skip some where

Excess metal in the doors/boot? All the little fiddly bits of trim that are pointless anyway? Doubt Gaz could be arsed lol.

It'll drop like a stone if you mess with it. Simple. Granted this is "free bhp" but as soon as you start messing with the car, it will rattle more (because it's a Renault) and will see the £££ drop off it.

If you were in the frame of mind that it's worth nothing, to you, either as parts or whole, I would strip it and keep it purely as a track car and buy something better for the day to day driving.
