good oil that can be bought locally?

I know any 5w40 is ok but ive read a few threads about people using carlube tripple r which is what i use and getting more engine noise and then when switching to fuchs 5w40 the noise goes.

i would get some from opie oils but im never in for delivery.

Is the elf stuff any good? and how much is it at a renault garage

personally id stay with fuchs as thats what seems to be standing you in good steed

Couple of days tops, other option is the Elf stuff from renault. Its not too bad if you can get it trade.

because i never thought to deliver it to work but if the elf is better than carlube and cheap ish ill just pick that up

Fuchs titan supersyn from opie.

I rate that oil, GSF used to sell it but my local stopped, might still be worth calling them to find out.

I have Elf in mine at the moment. Really noisy imo.

I have got mobil in mine its fine. Silkolene think thats right a lot of people recommend that aswell, its all down to personal choice I don't think there is a 'best' one.

mine only started to get noisy after i started using tripple r carlube and ive changed it every 5k.

Fuchs been bought over by unipart. So unipart oil is pretty much Titan. Gsf stopped doing fuchs as the range is overlapping and stupid which I agree with. Opieoils sucks IMO delivery is far to expensive.

Millers XFS - cheaper than Fuchs and a pretty good oil, buy it from Opie if you can't get it locally.
