Welcoming my mate's new R27 to the family

Convinced my mate he needed an RS in his life, not a GTI. So he bought a white R27 from Melbourne and we flew down on Saturday night and drove it home the fun way to Sydney on Sunday - only took 12 hours!

Anyway, just grabbed a few quick pics of welcoming him to the RS family (all of us have Renaultsports now )

When i was in Australia last year i didnt see a single Renault, let alone Renault Sport driving around. Just LOADS of yutes and wierd Fords/Toyotas i had never heard of before lol. So its good to see some fellow enthusiasts spreading the word

Fantastic mate, I love seeing rare hot hatches in other countries.

2 FRP's have just moved to France from Britain and if I was ever migrating i'd look into taking mine if it was possible.

I think you'd enjoy them so much more in a country with nice weather and better roads.

There are 10 white R27s in Aus, 10 yellow and 20 red.

The owner of the Meg 250 used to have an FRB 182 Cup.
Mine is the 182 and I've also got a 172.
And the owner of the R27 comes from a background of Toyota AE86s and Silvia drift cars... lol

Currently $1.50 AUD per litre for PULP 98 (highest octane rating you can get in most places) so 0.926 GBP.

Fart-arsed around in the morning so didn't leave properly till about 10:30am and rolled back into home just after 10pm. Not bad considering we did some twisty roads in Victoria, but once we hit NSW it was just highway all the way. :boring:

I am making a list of colours and numbers for R27 Clio so any that you know or can get would be great.

got around 200 uk and world ones so far so a long way to go!

Here is mine, number 271
