Just wondering what the average age of a Clio rs driver is here.

I'm 31, are there many people here around my age or older. It keep getting told I've got a kids car. I suspect their jealous.

Early 20's at the moment i'd say, about 23/24 is average from who i've met.

i have absolutely no idea what this has to do with the price of fish tbh

40! Love the car, it's one of a long string of performance cars, a step back in out right performance but still the most fun I've had in a car for years. I do get the kids car comments, couldn't care less!

I got mine at 20, and was told that I got a silly car aimed at young people. WTF. How is 20 old?

I'm nearly 27 and have owned my Clio since I was 24. I don't care that other people say I'm too old for it. I love it still and I bet I have a lot more fun in it then my friends do in their cars.

Things might have changed in the 3 years since that post.

The age of everyone who has posted will have gone up by 3 years? :p

I'm 19 and consider myself quite young & very lucky to have a 182 since I'm at uni & not in a FT job.

There had to be a reward for saving my monies, not hitting anything and borrowing my mum's 59 BHP fiesta (not allowed to fit lowering springs funnily enough...) all this time right? Whilst 1*2s etc are getting cheap they're still a significant amount of money to insure so I definitely don't consider the RS models a car for young drivers (nor do I consider you lot too old!) I certainly hope to come back to an RS clio one day, a stripped out cup would make an excellent second car I think.

So true. I was nearly tempted to go back to my beloved 5 turbo but it was too hard to find a good one at the right price. The Clio was the better option.

I brought one for the driving experence and not because I am going through a midlife crisis as my wife puts it.

I was 19 when i got mine and 21 when i got the Vee. I don't beleive there is a right or wrong age for the RS brand.

I'm 36 in July and have been in Clio 172 ownership for almost 3 years now, i've been into hot hatches since passing my driving test in 1996 and at this moment in time have no intentions of driving anything different. I too owned 5 GT turbos for years in my late 20s early 30s but found the 172 the next logical step on. Still love it and find it hard to think of why i'd have to sell it
