Alcantara help...

I am looking to do a few pieces of the interior trim in alcantara, only thing is I'm not sure what to order that will be the best match?! Is there anywhere I can find the colour code? (does alcantara even have a universal colour coding system??) Or better still, does anyone know of any websites that sell a good match?

I have found plenty websites, just really not sure on the colour match!

Hope someone can help...

Right... but is the Alcantara in the clio's genuine???

You know of any distributors in the UK that would do it???

Yes the Alcantara in the RS Clios is genuine, but lots of people use non-genuine when covering parts. The official UK importer for Alcantara can be found at http://www.ukhide.co.uk or on eBay as seller ukhide.

They sell by the metre length (1.4m width) at around £77 per metre. From the swatches I have received from them the Clio 182 interior appears to be colour code 9052 - it is a very close match but not absolutely exact (unless my car interior has faded somewhat, which would explain the slight difference). You need the non backed Alcantara for door cards etc, and backed for the seats. The spotted seat section from the standard 182 seats are from the Starlight range, again code 9052.

I can tell you the colour is not codes 9002 (dark grey), 9040 (jet black), or 9980 (dark blue).
