Clio 172 cam belt!

Is there any signs that i can look for to see if this has already been done on my car? I brought it with 64000 its now at 70000. Brought it off a mate a few years ago but i can gt hold of him at the minute and i can find the service book with receipts.

Well it should have been done by now anyway 5 years or 72k ( whichever comes sooner)

And I would of checked to see if it had been done before I bought it also. It should have a stamp in the service book or an invoice for all the work doing by a reputable company or both.

Most people on here will say without hard proof it's been done then it's a ticking time bomb.

If in doubt- get it done. It'll cost you less than £500 or double that if it goes bang.
