question about the clio key

Lately I've noticed I have to get very close to my car to use the fob. Also when I click the fob the little red light constantly flickers instead of staying on.

Is this normal or am I looking at replacing the battery in the fob?

Mine flickers.

Just change the battery and see if it makes a difference, they cost tupence.

If not just put the key against your head

When you put you key against your head it boosts the range, sounds silly but does actually work...

So i put the key next to my head and press the buttom every time i want to open it or just once and it improves it for weeks?

Well i certainly wouldnt do this every single time i opended my car. would rather get to the bottom of the problem then look like im scratching my head with my key in the middle of car parks

Which i am now doing as another member told me the exact battery to buy.

Car wont unlock till im really close = battery change.
