Castle Combe Performance Action Day (Spring) -Saturday 28th April 2012

Hey guys. It's that time of year again. We have got a club stand at the show.

I have asked for 25 spaces which is the same as we usually get and we usually just fill this.

Not sure how many free passes I will be getting this year until they come through my door, but it should be soon.

Track time can also be booked through me again like last time. I will confirm exact price when I contact Maria.

Shall put more information on meeting times and everything nearer the time but the usual routine is to meet at around 7 at a pub car park near by, then convoy to Combe and then we set up.

You will have to buy them from the gate as you drive in. Those who are lucky enough to get their names down first on the list get a free ticket from Will when we meet up beforehand.

Best thing for a pre-ordered ticket it so ring up castle combe and buy a ticket from them so that you get it cheaper. Then they will send you the ticket.

When I first did this she asked me to make sure all tickets went through me but it was such a pain getting the money off people and then buying the tickets, that I just told her that I will be getting the members to ring up and purchase lol.

This is true...I don't really know the details of your rep/ban situation but I'm sure we all appreciate you not throwing a strop and still organising things! I'm looking forward to my first club event to be fair (unless it rains - rain makes me miserable).

LOL tbh the only thing that has changed is that I can't go to the area rep chat section (which was rarely used) and I now have a limit of 100 PMs instead of 300.

Oh and the blue name. I organise meets because I enjoy it.

I've been part of clubs before where trying to get the reps to do anything was imposible - they wanted to be a rep purely for the 'status' (if you can believe that?) so it's nice to be part of a region where decent meets/events do get organised!

Removed myself from the list as I've realised that it's the same weekend I'm camping at thruxton for the BTCC.

Maria told us that they've changed the deals this year.

The vauxhall club I go with normally do the one with 12 free tickets and 6 free track passes etc, and now there arent any track passes in it.

Track time is based on when you book it:

£25 before 31st march

£30 between 1st april and 20th april

£35 on the day



Should be a good day out again hopefully.
