Hawken - Mech Combat FPS

This looks promising (although only a work-in-progress)... and developed by a small team in only 9 months. I find that hard to believe but hat's off to them and hopefully it will see the light of day eventually. The art direction looks to be superb.

Does look very promising that - definitely got a mecha 'feel' to it. Reminds me a lot of Shogo Mobile Armour Division.

I'd personally be much happier if not all mechs had jump jets - but I guess that might be a limitation on the map design?

Oh my god this looks good

It's about time they brought out some more mech games, I lost about 4 years of my life to mechcommander and the mechwarrior series! lol

The Alpha's out now guys and it's pretty impressive! Some little things like being able to repair your mech at any time with your repair drone, I can see causing issues on bigger game maps. But for an Alpha, it looks good, plays well (literally the Logitech G13 & mouse combo were born to play this!) - and I spent a while completing the feedback survey at the end.

I think polished off nicely, they may have a cracking game here.

Not too sure if it will be better than Mechwarrior Online. Will be interesting to see how the Alpha progresses.

I've not had chance to experience the Alpha release yet but I'm pretty keen to do so. Hopefully I'll get a bit of time in the coming days.
