The only thing that's wrong with my car now is the fact that someone else will soon be owning it :(
 
After having mine for a month its in the garage for the second time having its gearbox oil topped up. The gearbox needs resealing to stop it leaking allegedly! The service light has just come on - possibly due to low gearbox oil? The airbag light has come on too, and the emissions light comes and goes as it pleases!
I would say its all part of the charm but its getting on my tits tbh lol

Im driving around europe in a month and a half, dont have much time/money to get it all fixed!

For a change.... Nothing is wrong! Having said that I spent last weekend in my garage fixing all the rattles and squeaks :P
 
Today it's going in for a cambelt and also having a powerlex dogbone mount fitting. Still has a dodgy chinese tyre on the rear but gonna sort that out when I get it back
 
Crank Seal leak
Inlet cam timing possibly out
Needs a cambelt, aux belt & tensioners
Faulty passenger dipped beam light/wire
Knackered air vents on the centre console
Knackered heater controls
Rust.
Track rod end needs replacing, probably along with a number of other bushes
Torn seat material
Looks like a D-Turbo
Rear beam will need re-conditioning soon.
Handbrake is s**t
Needs a new passenger front indicator
Gearbox is slightly notchy going into 2nd gear quickly (probably the syncro...)
Could do with a new clutch soon
Could do with new engine/gearbox mounts
Lacquer peel
Front windows runners need some lube as they're sticky as hell.
Exhaust is far too boomy - needs some boxes & wadding removing

Still love it though!

It's just the three or four big jobs that are going to hike the price up. The rest might not happen - depending on work during the summer, the running gear might just get thrown into a 205 shell... That's something I'd Love to do and may have the opportunity to do if I'm lucky! Will have to see how things go. I'm really enjoying the 306 at the moment, despite its many flaws :o

Ok.....now somethings up, my cat and exhaust system need replacing. Anyone selling? I've got the cat sorted already
 
Squeaky squeak going down bumpy roads! I've reason to believe it could be my Powerflex ARB bushes need greasing up again...
 
Horn not working,
Loose heat shield over back box.
Kerbed wheels (from previous owners)
No sidelights
 
Broken front spring, leaking exhaust, worn rear discs, rattling heat shield over exhaust, irritating rattle coming from passenger seat bracket, leaking headlight washer despite fitting a one way valve (the right way round) two weeks ago.

That's enough for now.

4 weeks after reporting the fault STILL waiting for replacement parts for my BRAND NEW Koni rear dampers,
My Brake light doesn't work on my Cup Spoiler,
Front fog lights don't work,
Drivers seat won't lean forward,
Needs a service.

Typically French really!
 
Rear exhaust mount perished
Diesel needs to be hand bled thru if left overnight but runs & drives ok otherwise???
Tow bar not wired up
Needs new driveshaft boot
 
Front and rear disks shot, pads aswell. Fronts being done Wednesday.
Also only firing on 3.
I will report back in a few days when something else happens
 
cracked sump,seized rear calliper,centre exhaust mount seen better days,manifold 2 cat kit,no tax,MOT now ran out and drivers seat wont tilt foward
 
Exhaust that's dissolving. That's all.

Needs a wash too.
 
Had mine 6 months and all its due now is a service and a rear shock. In two minds whether to replace the shock or just wait till a set of coilovers comes up for sale
 
Ideally could do with a new front bumper. Need a new front grille too. Could do with a respray since it's clearly had a bodge job somewhere along the line.. It could be a seat leon too, but it's not.
