I've fitted my Spax RSX today with pure top mounts but now have knocking which I think is due to missing off a couple of items.
On the initial build up of the struts, using the Spax spacer and/or the bottom Pure Motorsport spacer wouldn't allow enough thread on the damper shaft to tighten the top nut.
We also didn't fit the Spax top nut as it was only just bigger than the hole through the Pure moun an I looked as if with any load they would come together damaging one or the other.
Now the car has settled, there's more thread showing on the damper shaft so a spacer is now required.
My question is, do I use the Pure spacer which I'm swaying towards or th Spax nd is he top Spax nut essential?
