1.2 turbo questions

I read on here the other day (I can't find it now) but you can fit a 1.6 tce turbo to the 1.2 engine resulting in around 100 bhp, firstly is this true? Secondly what would I need to get to fit it will anything need changing etc? Personally I think the 1.2 engine wouldn't need rebuilding to add the turbo but then again someone who knows better then me can easily correct me. Plus I know tons of you people will be saying no point in extra power for 1.2 but I can't afford a 1*2 plus insurance for at least a year or so, so if this isn't a too expensive job I wouldn't mind doing it. Thanks in advance :)

It's cheaper much cheaper on insurance to add a turbo goes up to £60 a month (already joined them up and asked)

Technically it would be 25bhp... But if you read through my post it says I'm just wondering about prices wtc if it is worth it an what needs to be done....

I don't really think so, surely it would be cheaper to sell and buy a 1.4?

You're right, lots of people will tell you it's not worth chasing more power out or a 1.2 . Listen to them.

I don't know if it's possible, but it almost certainly not worth the time, effort and cash required for the parts and will lower resale value of the car. So you'll end up taking it all out again anyway.

Put the money in the bank and save for your next car/insurance.

If you must spend money on the 1.2 and you a thinking of selling it on in the future then get something you can sell on or easily move into your next car. Set of turinis or a quality stereo setup.
