On my ph1 on way home from work today, it's snapped after where centre section joins the back box, was standard system, now it's bleeding my ears! What system should I get and even better anyone selling one cause I need one now :dapprove:

I'm sure there were a few in the For sale section.

Think it was jamesstone that was selling one.

is it where it comes out of the final centre box?!

thats where mine snapped off!
get either a genuine centre section, pattern centre section or aftermarket exhaust.
unlikely anywhere will be able to weld it up if its that corroded!

Thats already sold. Been looking in the for sale and have sent couple of pm's. Typical.

Doesn't look like it mate, going to take it to rentec tomorrow first thing and see what they say and get a price on a centre section, after just buying this car last month funds for a brand new piper/supersprint/yozza/btb just ain't going to happen unfortunately :dapprove:

Not sure mate iv no idea how much the centre section will be. Tha rear hanger is also fucked due to the b,box hanging off the weight of it has tore the rubber out so will need a new mount too.

Send me your paypal-

Its a consumable part -obviously wear + tear-& another reason why my current PH1 will probably be the last as these cars are getting old-
I will send you back £50- which will at least cover a standard centre section from a breaker-

Steve

Wow, that's great service, how all sellers should operate. In fact it's beyond what is expected of any seller. Wish I'd bought my RS from you now haha.

Wow! Much appreciated Steve, one in a million mate.

Janspeed mild steel system is quieter than a non genuine standard one and 130 quid less than genuine. I proved it to someone today with my itb'd 172

Dan, I really want the piper stealth u supply, 2.25" looks mint

My old system snapped twice, once after the cat then a few weeks after the back box fell off!

Ive got a 6k old ktec stealth stainless system for sale in a few weeks if you can hold out?

Cant wait I'm afraid, back box has now fallen off, it's LOUD now.

Managed to source a replacement system, thanks to dmallet  Also ordered a new exhaust mount as the old one was ruined. Noticed the back box is full of water when I took it off, how come? No wonder they rot!

condensation, don't often see it on a 172 but 182's are terrible for it, seen litres pour out before
