Thanks for all the comments, it was a brilliant race. By far our best. I really got stuck in and had the confidance to push it hard as it wasnt going to do anything nasty. Tony and Fred spent a long time getting the setup as best they could before the test a few weeks ago and the car was near perfect on the day.

Its the loudest thing there.not sure what it noise tests at but must be high, ours is 102/103db. Sounds amazing. Ex Btcc class B car with 250bhp.

Not sure what the focus is running but got to be 230+ id of thought

Can't believe the amount of speed you are taking that mega tight hairpin (far tighter than the vid makes it look) with at the same time as having enough grip left to pick a line that lets you overtake, that really is very impressive handling.

the best the car has ever felt. Gave us pure confidance. Mallory really suits it for some reason, weve never had a bad setup there no mater what weve had on the car at the time. And thats with the limitations of the stock chassis in terms of wishbone position castor etc

I think the key thing on that hairpin is a diff, my corsa was horrible handling wise compared to my mk1, but because it had a decent diff and the mk1 didnt it was a lot better at that hairpin than the mk1 even though it was worse most other places.

We took a second off our laptimes at mallory 2010-2011 from the diff. It isnt just a plant and go tho, has to be fed in still. The pug gains massively in devils elbow and im assuming coz it has a plate diff.

Awww thats a terrible shame, I hope it won't cost too much money or far far too much time to fix it. Would be a real shame to see a wholly over spec'd car not turn up and allow the tintops to be run as a competitive series again.

All the races will be in the afternoon anyway, usually start after lunch, 1.30.

We won't know for ages yet. Arrives the week leading up to the race.

So many varying factors Colin, set up, weather, what so of race you are having etc.

Mallory will munch a front set. We have done a full two meetings on a set including Quali.
