Newbie thats has a problem

First of all il introduce my self my names shawn I've just swapped my Audi for what I believed to be a Clio sport… that's right believed

Well here goes any help would be perfect I've tried to swap my insurance from my Audi to this Clio but with the reg on there database nothing comes up …… so they asked me to read them what it says on the log book and even then there saying they dont list this car

On the log book it says
Make : Renault
model : Clio rl
cylinder cc :1998cc

When I put the reg in on my car checker it also comes up as a Renault Clio rl 1998cc

Can anybody sheaf some sort of light on this is got all of the Clio sport details and it doesn't look like its been painted if its a copy it's a really really good one

Any help would be much lay appreciated

If its any help my clio reg doesnt come up at renault :/ pm me your reg and ill check it with the DVLA see if its reg

What age is it?Has someone dumped a 2.0litre engine in a lower spec car and then put Renaultsport Clio exterior on?

Just checked it is a renault sport its registered as a 2.0 litre from 2003 but Id double check the VIN on the car and the log book ! the tax band is for a reanultsport too !!

its a import mine used to say that on the log book

Mine is registered as a 2.0 but when I rang up to insure it my insurance company told me that it's coming up at a 1.6 Renault Clio, although the Dvla checked for me and it's a Renault sport Clio on the system, very strange

Post up some pics, inside and out, under the bonnet, most of us can tell if it's a conversion.

Yeh I got it changed now to risky if not, and not mine was registered in the uk
