Banksy Tunnel/Underground Roundabout - London 13th April

Is this graffiti tunnel yeah?

I went their a couple months back and their were a bunch of tramps down their who pulled us over and asked us for change, i thought here we go, gonna get robbed by a bunch of hobo's lol.

I'd probably go to a meet here though when it warms up abit, maybe go on a night when it's French car night at ace cafe and do both.

LOL I stumbled upon the tunnel while I was down there on business, was out taking night shots in my spare time

Some guy started walking at me going "nice camera that mate" - s**t myself and legged it lol

WARNING TO THOSE WHO GO TO THE LONDON GRAFFITI TUNNEL (Leake Street, SE1 7NN)

I got this off one of my local forums which also came off another forum.

Just a little word of warming to the people that use the London Graffiti Tunnel to watch out for a gang of s***s that go down there looking to steal the cars or mug you!!!

I know it's a popular place to go for pics and that quite a few of us go down there so just to make you aware to be on your guard!

Friend of mine was down there Saturday night taking some pics of his Golf with his heavily pregnant girlfriend when a load of people in hoodies turned up and surrounded them and the car. They were carrying knives & one of them had a flick-knife that he kept flashing about.

The leader of them was telling one of them to get in and take the car but he obviously didn't know how to drive as he asked what he needs to do..... wouldn't have got very far as the leader bloke told to just floor the accelerator, nothing about putting it in gear, etc so obviously they had no idea!! But it was all being done blatently and open, they didn't try to hide what they were up to...

My mate & his girlfriend quickly got in the car to get out of there and as they did a transit van pulled up with 3 more of them inside and he said he was sh*ting himself!! Managed to drive round the van and get out but there were others down there at the far end taking pics of their cars so they may have been targeted too. My mate called the cops when he got out of the tunnel so guess that they turned up.

It sounds like word is getting around that lots of nice cars go down there now so if you go make sure you watch out ok, would hate to hear that someone from here had lost their Mini or worse been stabbed, etc!!!

Be careful people! There is scum about.....

Yep, no THROUGH traffic, it's a dead end, doesn't go any where. No one stops cars going in there, there's a car wash access in there too iirc.

With regards to your other post. Safety in numbers. Done

Everyone keeps saying the weighty ClioSport bottle opener keyring is a lethal weapon, I think we'll all be suitably equipped lol

(flick-knifes will be stocked in the ClioSport shop in due course)

When I went down their, their was the bunch of tramps and a group of black people in a silver merc. I was in my Clio with just two other mates, went and drove to the end which was a dead end and that's when alarm bells started ringing! I thought were getting mugged! Turned around to get out of their and then the tramps pulled us over, asked us for change, we said we haven't got any, thought we were gonna get jacked by them so we got out their quick!


was dodgy that night but i would defo go back again if we had a few of us.


Oh and their was the car wash down their aswell.

Even if I'm working ill pop down with some of my work pals in an unmarked car. Sounds like a good place to plot up! Our base is just down the road.

My mate goes down there alot in his corsa c. He used the graffiti backdrop to enter the fresh uk competition and he only went and one a autoglym clean&wax kit :)

Deffo worth going. In numbers...

I'm possibly game, I'll be accompanied by my ham sized fists. Worst comes to the worst I can pick up Ron and throw him at potential foes. Like a bald Exocet missile. :)

FLOL!!! I might have to use this new tactical option at work today!! It could be modified slightly to use as a battering ram!

We could always give the tunnel a miss if people are worried and go to that underground roundabout? That could be quite cool and isn't far away.

There's nothing to worry about. We can do the roundabout as well (canary wharf)

Ive just got in from work and the west end was manic tonight perhaps do on a Saturday might be few less people about.
