rs192 sticks out loads after journey?

I've been having a running battle with my exhaust for a while now with it protruding over 25-30mm from having been near to flush. Is only after a run, is it the heat expansion? it looks a but nasty though.

Our could I have an engine mount failing? Which would be at fault?
Any ideas appreciated, Dom

same happens with my milltec, seems to get an erection when hot

same with my yoz its because the metal expands slightly when hot and tbh you do have quite a but of metal to stretch out lol

Ah well that's fine then, just might push it back in a bit more then. Here's the question though-how much longer are your exhausts when they get a stiffy?

Bearing in mind 400F = 204C .. that's 4.6 inches over 100ft .. your exhaust is what, 15-20 ft .. I'd say you'll easily see an inch. The first 1/3 might be 600F and the last half 200F, so averages out at 400....

Not unrealistic anyway.

Same, my rear bumper spouts 2 nipples when things get warm. I have a feeling it coincides with my epically sagging cat and fecked upper gearbox mount that I haven't got round to changing.
