IT wireless router help.

  Clio 182
Hey guys looking for some brains to pick here.

I have just moved in to an annex, we have are own separate phone line from the house, but when they plug their router in our internet drops out. Now I know this could be something to do with what channels the routers are on. Im not sure what theirs is on but i've changed mine to 1,6 and 11 and still no joy.

any one got any advice? please!

thank you in advance.

I'd personally renew the filters first, shouldn't drop out. Is the actual line dropping or just the WiFi?

That was my 1st thought so I swapped their filter with a different one.
Its just the Wifi. Phone line works, they don't actually have a phone line installed yet. Its just as soon as they plug in their router our router drops. I plugged my telephone into their line to see if it was the same as ours but it has no dial tone or anything.

So let me get this straight, they're plugging a router in, and they don't even have a phone line...?

Tell them to not plug it in until they actually get a line installed?!

What model routers do you both have?
