    172 or GTI-6

    Was driving a 306 last weekend - didnt feel overly fast but the owner thinks the cat may be blocked. It felt better screwed together than a Clio and more solid. He picked it up off ebay - a later spec one with 60k on the clock for £2700 IIRC. Really nice car.

    A few years back up here the poor old Saxos where Chavved up. In now seen as many Chaved Clios (mostly standard not CS versions). The most chavved up machines up here now are mainly Jap machines - older Civics and Scoobs. Thanks goodness for fast and the furious I say!!

    172 vs Cupra

    My Williams was making 27mpg town only driving and 45mpg on a long journey - My current Turbo makes about 20mpg around town and 35mpg on a long journey. The difference is quite amazing.

    7,500 RPM on a Williams? Yours must be quite modded is it as that seems way too high? Im not sure whos fault it is to be honest, my RS nearly had the same fate on saturday but I was lucky.
