i found this on an ebay forum, just wondering have any of you tried this? and for those of you with decats failing MOT's on emmisions would this be worth a try? or would this seriously mess up your motor...
Just wondering if anyone knows whats wrong, fair play the car has done 71k, but its gone very tappety. i had a valve replaced and cambelt changed not long ago, ever since then its been very tappety. anyone know whyy???

Reet, thing is i replaced this mount just less than 3 weeks ago. The other thing is i dunno if i did it right, i must have overtightened the bolts maybe??? wtf would it be??
And could someone please give me a step by step, for dummies, guide on how to change it. because im gunna do it again ;)...

just done a compression test on each cylinder, one of them is wayyyyy lower that the other 3, what would this be? worn piston rings? how much is it goin to cost to fix?

Reet, the thing is my car is running on three cylinders. I found out by removing the HT leads one by one, one of them made no difference.
Very recently i have changed my coil pack, my HT leads, and my spark plugs, i even changed the problem plug again. Also cleaned my idle control valve, still...
have you got the wires that go to and from the switch and reset button in the right order? i did them in the wrong order once and that happened what you are describing. lights just flashed then died when powered up.
