Hi, my clio is long sold but I found some unused tie rods at the back of the shed. There are three in total, I think one is for a 172 cup, and two are a matching pair I think from when I fitted a manual rack from a 1.2/1.4/1.6 I can't move the ends by hand so they should be good. Just looking...

coilpack changed, problem solved. the new coilpack was numbered which helped

If I can manage changing a gearbox I'm sure I'll be ok with a coilpack :) Think I might have to register on the Ka owners forum *shudder*

yep it's the duratec. 1.3. what's the general connection model for the coil pack? i've gone and found too much information on the net. the firing order is either 1,2,4,3 or 1,3,4,2. i also found coil packs labelled differently. one place has the coil pack connectors labelled 1-2-3-4 counter...

Hi, my little sister has a Ford Ka and it's running a bit rough, akin to a missing cylinder. I confirmed this (or so I thought) when I pulled one of the HT leads off and the metal connector that should be inside the ht lead was still connected to the top of the spark plug. I forced the ht lead...

the money pit and steering problems have gone! sad to see it go- the amount of blood, sweat and tears put into it. sold it with problems in the end for £1400, which is what i asked for it. that doesn't even cover the amount spent in parts mind, let alone the £2k i paid for it 18 months ago...

no it's not being driven in case you're wondering :rasp: i swapped insurance to my new car so the clio has been uninsured for a week. it's off the road and it's got tax. i know that doesn't matter anymore, but i'm trying to sell it and want to keep the tax on it for as long as i can. how long...
