I had a similar problem and I turned my key over the other way (hope this makes sense) and it worked from then on! The key just wasn't disarming the imobiliser!
I had replaced the car battery and everything!!!
Hi,
I know there are quite a few leaky sunroof threads but I have a specific question. On a mk 2 clio how should the water drain from the rim around the sunroof glass to the drain that you can see if you lift the sunroof fully.
Water just seems to collect around the rim of the glass on...
Perhaps if I just paint the car swap the plates chnage the engine, gearbox, susspension, interior and wheels over between the two cars I could get it done under warrenty :)
With all the cold weather and frost the sunroof on my GF clio is leaking. is it worth getting it fixed or should I wait for waremer weather? Anything temp I can do? The wet patch is behind the passenger sun visor.
Cheers for the help. Got a new battery and realised there was also a problem with the imobiliser! Had to put the key in and out a few times before the light went out!
Doh probably didn't need a battery after all LOL although it was also flat.
Hi,
The battery in my GF Clio is dead as it hasn't been used in about 5 weeks! I tried to jump start it last night but even after 10 mins of the good car running her car only turned over a few times and didn't start.
Is it likely that the battery is dead? Would it be worth leaving the jump...
