Hi guys,
I have a CD stuck in my CD player. It won't eject the CD or play it.
Before I attempt to take the CD unit out of the centre console, does anybody know whether I'll need a code when I put it back? If so, I don't know the code so will Renault just give it to me on request or will I have...
Not wanting to scare you mate but be careful. I had my car stolen off my drive in the middle of the night about this time last year. The scumbag broke into my house and stole my keys while me & my girlfriend were asleep upstairs...so there obviously is some demand for Clio's still.
I was lucky...
Exactly the same thing happened to me in April of this year. I know how you feel mate, it's a real gut wrencher isn't it?! I feel for you.
On the positive side though, my car was found 10 days later with false plates on only 3 miles from my house. No damage except curbed wheels which my...
That seems awfully fast for a standard 172 cup. I have done 15.1 at Santa Pod in my dad's 220bhp Datsun 240z track car which is a hell of a lot faster than my cup! If that times correct, well done mate.
Mine is almost identical mileage, mint condition and registered in December 2003 as well! I wouldn't sell it for any less than £5.5k simply because there isn't another car I could replace it with for any less than £5.5k. You see plenty of cups around now for around £4.5k but you have to wonder...
Have you got it yet? What year/mileage etc? Did you get a bargain? Good stuff mate, they'll be 2 in Stoke Golding when I come home now, bloody common cars ha ha!
I've got a cup and have just bought a standard 172 wheel as a spare. For the amount of time I spend doing flat out 0-60's, I'd rather have the piece of mind that I won't get stuck at the side of the road! Maybe I'm being boring but the weight of a spare wheel makes no difference when you're...
Yeah, £5k is about right. Mine is a low milage 53reg, I'd value it at about £5.5k. You might be lucky and get a bargain though, especially with used car prices at the moment. Good luck
The best thing you can spend your cash on for the track is some 'proper' track tyres. They make more difference than everything else together.
You will also definitely need uprated brakes. My standard brakes turned to jelly after 3 laps of the Donington International circuit (with the...
Exactly what I was thinking. Surely £2k would insure the car?! Probably rather have a track **** though! Nobody really needs anything more than a 1.1 on the road these days to be honest.
I've just bought a tow bar for my Cup off a guy on here. Any Clio tow bar will fit a 172/cup, not sure about 182's because of the exhaust.
It's crazy that they're not legally allowed to tow, I don't really understand it.
If you do a search, there's quite a useful thread about this from a while...
By the way, if you really want to know the difference in straightline performance you'd be best looking at the 0-100 times rather than 0-60. Most cars are pretty close 0-60, there's just not enough time to make a difference.
My Dad has a 350z. The 0-60 of his car is 'only' 0.5 sec quicker than...
