Never usually notice a difference in mine - but try to run it on V power mostly (just for the shell points)...

Think the LEDs came as part of a kit with the reading/map/glovebox/boot LEDs too, then the SMDs were just from eBay The lights themselves work fine when the key is half turned - but just screw about with the engine starting! Anyone with any ideas?

I haven't had the wheel off, but previous owner may well have done Update on above - the cruise control button only gets hot when running - but not all the time. Was cold when I started it up this morning... guessing if it's a short though it could be draining the battery and not running hot...
