So they should have definately picked up on the binding caliper then? Nice one, I'm definately going to put in a complaint. Wonder if e-mail, telephone, or in person is the best way forward?
No to be honest. I've not done many miles recently (only 200 or so since the service) and not been out...
...only a month after a service at a Renault main dealer
Had it in at Harretts in Wakefield last month for several issues looking into along with a minor service being carried out. A new front arm, gearbox mount, rear wheel bearing, and £600 later I drive away in my fully serviced and...
My 172 is currently at Harretts having a couple of problems looked into and a service carried out. I've just got off the phone now and have been advised that the following need replacing:
Nearside Bottom Arm - £174
Offside Rear Wheel Bearing - £119
Are these reasonable prices or am I being...
I was under the impression that the servicing schedule for the ph1 172 was 12k/1year however looking in the sticky it seems to state 12k/2years. Is this correct?
The reason I ask is that it's coming up to a year since the last service so need to know whether to get it booked in or not.
Cheers
The clip was already broken on one side from a previous owner, so I wasn't too surprised when it came off.
Ta for the advice on oil changes, I'll bear it in mind.
Well, it weighs practically nothing to be honest, and it just looks daft without it in my opinion, so I definately want to replace it.
Hehe thanks for the offer, but I don't want it that badly that I'll drive a 150 mile round trip for it :D
The silver engine oil cover panel came off yesterday whilst I was driving, and decided it wanted to melt itself on the engine :-/
Will Renault likely be able to supply me with one? If not, anyone know where I can get one from, and what the likely cost is going to be?
Cheers
As title really, I'm after recommendations of good breakers and spares shops around the country, specifically ones that are likely to have a ph1 172 gearbox in stock.
Thanks
I need to find out what my gearbox part number is. I'm told I can look at a sticker on the gearbox itself but I can't seem to find it :o
Can anyone advise me where I should be looking to obtain this number?
Cheers :)
