make sure you have good brake fluid. i used AP600 but there are lots out there which are just as good imo. the ebc green pads will be fine. have a good track day.
mintex 1177 on my track car with ap brake fluid. never had brake fade with this set up. the down side is that they make alot of noise when cold and the dust from the pads is not wheel friendly, so cleaning the alloys after use is a must(like most performance pads). i have a new set mintex 1177...
try the new sparco blades. best i have ever used. even put them on the works van. u will not be disapointed. about £13 each plus p&p. i found them on www.sorensenroadsport.co.uk
for my track car i use silkolene sny 5 for the gearbox. and ive move on to miller engine oil 15w60. i used to use silkolene pro r/s but the millers is just as good. hope this helps.
supersprint. comes with data to prove the power too. but it aint cheap:( i think they do a road system and also race system. but race systems may not be availble anymore for older models. i got a decat pipe from a company called devil for a resonable price which seem to be fine. i wouldnt...
just be carefull u dont start damaging ur output shafts. the grip will be great thought. u can also cut the slicks to make them into intermedits. due to the english weather!! enjoy ur track days. ps some circuits wont let u run slicks unless you have a roll cage fitted. hope this info helps!
hi i have a 172 cup and im after a spare set of driveshafts.
Do all the 172/182 shafts fit each other? because i was told the cup driveshafts are different. cheers
replaced my dogbone for a power-flex one and solve the knocking. i also though it was the exhaust, i also changed the wishbone bushes. got mine from sorensen road sport. a lot cheaper!
dont soften the clay bar. it needs to be hard. do a small section at a time using the spray for lubrication. there intructions on the bottle of spray. hope this helps.
not too sure on the ratio or power. something ill have to research. but on the megene it doesnt beat the syncro through changes, thats the main reason im interested.
