Clicking clutch will most likely be wear on the pedal box mechanism. My Kangoo does it and its highly annoying.

Squib is probably causing the clicking when turning the steering wheel. The mrs meg also done it briefly then stopped so not worried about it since
I'll have a wee dig about and start ripping bits off soon hopefully, pack some stuff with grease 😂

Maybe soon, I do like the meg and think with a few quid in the right places itl be more of a blast than the clio, it just needs some love, and a set of bc's and 18" ultras 🙏...😂

Still requiring a decent alignment for the meg but it's going well, went the long way round to loch venachar through dukes pass on Sunday and it was great, nook disagreed.
Need to get a guy to take a couple dents out the meg before I machine it but I think that's the next step, got new rs badges to paint up and I'd quite like some black Renault badges and a set of wheels, but I might just get some spacers for now, been looking at pms and ktec exhaust and I'm not too sure what to go for but I'll see if I can hear some in person first

But it gets f**k all until it looks braw

Hello anyone who's still subbed, it's been a while

Some things have changed - the megane is no longer my daily and is now sitting sorned in the driveway whilst it goes up on value. I'll get it into the garage and detail it and leave it, I could already sell it for far more than I bought it for but I'm greedy (plus it's nice to look at)

It's been replaced by this

A t5.1 transporter which I picked up from Carlisle about 3 or 4 months ago now and I love it! It's a mild camper project for me and the Mrs to take the dog on excursions, I've carpeted the back ealls, lined the floor, fitted the new CNC cut floor, insulated and sound deadened it, I've got some more new trim panels to carpet and some downlights to fit to the roof and itl be good enough for it's first weekend away
I also got a towbar fitted to it the other day so that I can now borrow a trailer of various buddies and use the t5 as a track support vehicle

The mx5 turbo build has been completed and mapped.
It made 216.8hp and ~220ish lb ft at 0.8 bar then the clutch started slipping, after being a bit disheartened at the figures it felt absolutely f**king amazing to drive and it certainly feels fast.

I have a badboy 6puck clutch to go in and then I'll go back for more boost and the 230/40hp figure I originally set out. I'll be keeping it as is for csf and changing the clutch out afterwards

Absolutely loving the mx5, it's been a long time coming to get it this far but it's all been worth it, new discs and pads on the way for it and a rollbar which I've now been waiting a month and a half for, then an alignment and it's ready to be dragged down to Blyton by the silver bus!

Just back in the door from unloading the trailer etc, I'd like to thank everyone for allowing my s**t box Mazda to csf23, what an incredible time! Anglesey was excellent and the mx5 done well. The van however... Thatl need a clutch for next year and it decided to burst it's egr cooler about 5 minutes from the house. I'll deal with that later, time for a lie down!

Been a while since I've been on here! Hope everyone is well and I'll see everyone again at csf24 (minus the mazda this year as I'd just like to enjoy the weekend and can't really be bothered) , my old clio has potentially become available again so if there's a good deal to be had I may try buy it back and rescue it as it is now a bucket. The r26 is still taking up space in the garage and I'm beginning to hate it for that, so there will be a for sale add up hopefully very soon after the weather clears up and I've had a chance to give it a machine Polish etc, but it being liquid yellow with reasonable milage and all the usual parts on it done like hubs, bearings and timing etc I'm hoping it sells quite quickly

Megane passed its mot and after a boost solenoid, a brake hose and some tax it's back on the road, it's rather nice to be in compared to the van although it is quite vibratey inside

So I've ordered up a new set of engine mounts and I'll replace those on my week off.
Quite enjoying it

Changed all of the engine mounts in the megane, what a difference, the vibration on revs was quite horrible and it's nice and smooth now

Drivers side mount and torque link mount were totally humped, pass side wasn't bad but probably on its way out from the other side being so bad and the bottom mount seemed fine but changed it anyways since there was a new one there

Stuck a new boot button on a sit was a bit floppy and a cheap fix, then realised it's missing the light in the boot so I'll try find one of those nice and cheap

Had a quick alignment done aswell and now it's excellent to drive, a good machine Polish and touching up some stonechips and it's pretty much ready to go
