Haha even as a controller player it really did need the nerf. I honestly think it'll make the game more fun to play for everyone except for people that have no thumbs 😂

Having played the Beta, I’m not sure. The movement thing, supposed to be more “natural”, actually just feels “off” and less natural imo.
People swan diving all over the place isn’t very realistic.
Coupled to BoPS more “cartoony” graphics (I’ve always felt this vs the non-BoPS instalments), and the already proliferation of stupid skins, I’m thinking this may be a fail before it’s even started.
Only thing I think I like more is the gun dynamics. One shot snipers for example. Problem with that, is when coupled to the movement histrionics (you may need to google that @Ant1), it’s a recipe for sweats.

I've been watching streams and stuff thinking "Oh it looks just like MW but with added movement." Nah the BLOPS lacquer has definitely been sprayed all over it.
I was knackered when I played last night so will reserve judgement for a day or two. Also need to mirror my MW3 settings to the game pass version as closely as possible. I feel like tweaking the keybinds to my preference has kinda broken the omnimovement already though. 😆

£70 I dropped to play the Beta and now regret doing so. 20’minutes into playing you had morons running round with snipers dropping kill streaks so there was a constant chopper gunner in the air.

That’s the thing, it didn’t feel sweaty last night. Not sure if it’s SBMM or not, but the lobbies I was in with Kyle and Jonnio seemed sound and we won pretty much every game. So it’s not like we didn’t like it because we were “losing” or not any good at it.
It was more the “fluidity” of the movement that I didn’t like. I may get more into it, but everyone flailing around like a rag doll 24/7 just seemed to look ridiculous / unrealistic.
Early CODs always seemed to balance “fun and realism”, so whilst they’re not 100% historically accurate, they did immerse you in warfare of that period. Early v1 Warzone also kept hold of its realism with period weapons and scenery and movement in combat more akin to the real world.
The recent push in Warzone for nonsense skins, make believe weapons and dumb stuff like super heroes / laser eyes has detracted from the realism. This is now compounded by unrealistic movement in this game.
IRL Soldiers don’t go jumping through glass and barrel rolling with sniper rifles for one shot no scopes. I get it’s a game, but a slight push of the pendulum back towards “realism” would be good. Else I’d play Fortnite. It’s summarised perfectly with the dumb post game gestures in the leaderboard lobby. Childish and annoying and just unnecessary. A waste of development time.
That’s why the recent battlefield was so disappointing. I was craving the return to some realism but they completely screwed the game up.

It's funny you mention SBMM because last night it seemed to me that one game I could kill anyone and the next my bullets were made from rubber. There's definitely a mechanic that drops your damage, some games it felt like I was doing one of those punches in your dreams
BlOps was always a bit of a "toy soldier" game tbh, it just seems the exact same as every other black ops with the fact you can run sideways and backwards

Quite liking the game. Although the new movement is mostly a gimmick imo. It’s more annoying than beneficial.
Set up a decent AK74 the other day and totally spawn trapped the other team with it on Babylon (shite map). 66 kills 🤣

I've never got into zombies! Only ever bought to game for multi to level up weapons and then straight into the sweats of warzone and rage quitting because I remember how s**t I am
