On the campaign, yes. DirectX crashes, if I pause the game for too long it seems
Finished it off earlier and honestly thought the campaign was pretty decent. Certainly better than the more recent games. It has more to it that just simply shooting military bad guys etc even almost has some sort of doom/horror style to it for some missions which were the better ones imo.
As for MP it's still a lot of fun imo. Lobbies are about as insane as it'll get right now as SBMM is cranked to the max with the amount of active players. Even had someone in my lobby with dark matter camo. Now I'm not sure if that's even possible this quick as even some big streamers are still on the grind so I don't know if there's some sort of glitch or if these 500+ score p/m lobbies really are this bad.
Leveling is certainly very noticeably slow too but again I'm seeing many prestige 2+ in my lobbies. I guess moshpit mode helps but Jesus.

You see, I hated the “doom / horror” stuff. I buy COD to play military type gaming. If I wanted horror and doom, I’d buy Doom or resident evil or other much better zombie / horror based franchises.
I’d like COD to be more military and realistic. Not less. Almost Medal of Honor type gameplay. When it first came out, COD was the military orientated fps. When did they need to change?
I’m hoping delta force and battlefield come good. Because the current COD is too non old school COD for me.
Honestly I didn't rate Delta Force that well. I was excited for it because of nostalgia but it just felt like a free battlefield rip off. That said I get exactly what you mean and I do really hope the next battlefield delivers as COD definitely isn't that game to play if you really want to play a proper tactical shooter.
If I learned anything I should probably try more horror/doom type games as I've never really dipped my hand into that genre properly but I really enjoyed those missions.

Agreed on Delta Force. My concern is COD was the go to military game.
Now, it’s pandering to try to be everything. I’d rather have a brilliant COD/battlefield, horror / zombie game and a halo type game, than one game that tries to be all three.
Didn’t someone off here claim a refund when MW3 was released? They found it that s**t, got their money back.

No it was defo cod. Trying to think who it was. I remember thinking at the time, how did you pull that one off.
I got a refund from Blizzard for black ops cold war.
Then bought the game 2 months later for £20 less
I'm on Xbox so have it free with gamepass, I've taken a rather long break from Xbox up until last year when I got a bargain Series X in black friday.
I mostly only play forza though, the last COD I played properly was the OG MW2 and BO2...!!
So for me to transition and find my feet again to start with was hard work... I feel like I'm definitely improving though not back to my old ways.
The maps all seem very small and the modes can seem chaotic alot of the time. I am level 45 now and not really seen anyone camping yet. It's more mental run and gun style and the new movement system is taking me ages to get used to. Relies a lot on pressing in the sticks which annoys me.
One of my main gripes though is the spawns, they are shocking, again due to the small maps I guess. In free for all you can just get people spawn behind you having just killed them..
I have it filtered to I only play core domination / hardpoint / kill confirmed now which seems to be working more for me.
I am GUTTED they didn't include the game mode: Demolition though. As that was literally all I used to play, the spawns always stayed at either end. I find team deathmatches just insanely stupid as they can spawn anywhere.
All in all, I'm actually enjoying it. Going to get to level 55 and just get some solid classes put together and try and improve more.
I started off with the XM4 and it's good. But then I went to the C9 (MP5) and did well with it esp as it's all so close contact. Then I went back to AR's with the AK74.... and now I have the Model L which is a tank, best gun I've tried yet.

It was me but I only got my money back because it kept crashing on the same mission over and over. The one where it's a stealthy one. Kept freezing towards the end and I couldn't progress with the story. Proper lamme
Weird how after all the AA nerfs I've been having the most fun compared to last few games. Similar to xdefiant the game is actually even more fun when you have more control over it. Wonder how the MNK players are feeling about it or maybe omnimovement is the new thing to rage at?
It needed it. Just aim yourself tbh, bit of a copout getting the AI to help aim.
Omnimovement is ok, will take a bit more getting used to on mnk as it's geared towards using sticks on a controller.
That's what I'm saying mate it feels more rewarding now and even as a controller player there would be times I'd watch a kill cam and think that's some bullshit but it definitely seems better now.

Is that the one where you spawn and see the red of the enemies through walls?
I'm currently playing it on a 60 inch old LG TV as I'm away and it's absolutely shocking coming from my monitor. Should have packed that too.
Yep that's the one and you also get it at the start of the game or when picking class. Put it this way I wouldn't bother with S&D right now unless you plan on using it.
