Had a little sesh earlier and was good fun. Was just playing normal playlist but jumped into moshpit for the last few games and wished I had tried it sooner as had more fun in that mode. If you enjoy a bit of shipment/nuketown etc that's the mode to be in imo.

Shame they didn't release the campaign early. Wonder if there's even any incentive to play it through but I'll probably jump on and get that done at some point too shouldn't take too long being a cod campaign anyway.

Trialled it. Felt almost cartoonish. f**k they c***s. Felt robbed as it was for MWIII.

Hardcore? I always seem to get that feeling in that mode just feels w**k to not even be able to react to someone you can't even see yet. Plus it's the worst mode if you actually like to move about as you'll get 1 tapped by just about 90% of the guns by some gimp laying in a corner back of spawn.

Other than ttk vs ttd feeling slightly off at the minute sometimes which usually gets tightened up with a few updates normal mode hasn't been too bad. Typical sbmm where you get easy then hard lobbies vice versa so it's hard to guage if your getting better or if the game just gifts you a better lobby.

I think the game looks good and that’s about it.

The hit registration and damage just seems so inconsistent. I can see an enemy on my screen for what feels like a couple of frames and I’m just insta dead. Whereas I’m getting constant hit markers with a well setup M4/AK74. No packet loss either and good ping.

The spawns are pretty broken. On babylon it kept spawning our whole team in a corner room and the other team were just lying down with LMGs spraying us as soon as we spawned in. It kept spawning us in that room for probably 30 seconds before it changed location.

Omnimovement….no words needed tbh

I’m sorry, I’ve tried but it’s bloody awful movement feels slow, gun levelling is a thankless task that takes too long. Spawns are a joke and the maps, whilst looking great are poorly thought through and in most cases too small. What a shame

Will play the campaign over the next couple of weeks whilst I'm away with work (apparently that needs a constant internet connection )

Played a few games of MP with a couple of mates and some games were ok, some were absolutely aids.

Hmmm I think people might just need to get used to it or settings issue. Game and movement feels faster to me and imo it's the better of the more recent cods. Omnimovement isn't that bad it feels great to slide sideways or backwards etc but there's no need to use it to dive etc but it's funny when you get a kill while diving mid air. I do recommend people use hybrid setting for slide/dive behaviour so if your not using that it could be worth a look.

Zombies could be worth a try for those strugglong to get a feel for the new mechanicas saves getting smashed in the process

Yet to jump in and try the new zombies mode actually. Think the main thing that drew me to zombies last year was the chance to play Urzikstan early.

I’m surprised you didn’t do a trial on gamepass just to see what it’s like first.

I done the first couple of missions on the campaign yesterday and it does look impressive.

As for MP I can see Delta Force taking a good chunk of players away when it’s released properly.

I actually kinda like it. SBMM has been an absolute b**ch (for me at least over the weekend) so most games are hard hard. 7 hours of play time, 18 wins and 30 losses I need to get myself into those Booboo lobbies where he's able to rack up 40 kills per game Dunno how us above average PC players (Liam, Kyle and Myself) keep finding ourselves in lobbies that feel like everyone is from the CDL. Our score per match aint any different to those that get the much easier lobbies.

TTK in hardcore is obscene. Way too fast to actually react and just full of lying doon corner watching little cretins.

Core's TTK is obviously slightly longer but definitely better. Hit reg/net code is definitely still an issue for sure (but which recent COD doesn't have this issue). We've all unloaded on someone looking the other way only for them to spin and delete you. I actually think this where the feeling of bullet sponging comes from.

I don't think the game looks particularly good. In addition, I think its very hard to see stationary players in a lot of the "background".

A shocking respawn system is a staple of COD games. This is not new.

Omni-movement is pointless. peak COD movement was Warzone 1 Season 2/3. Once Caldera came out and it became a slide cancelling mess that became stupid quick/daft. I actually liked Warzone 2s' plan to slow things down a bit but they went too far. Last game was getting back to good but now they've went and fudged it up again.

It doesn't help that 90% of the maps feel like shipment with different skins.. now I love a 24/7 shipment playlist but I don't want it all the time. The square map with the columns is basically shipment

What a bout the stupid square one with curtains everywhere. I couldn’t see anyone last night, get getting spawn killed. Then worked out the other team were just spraying randomly and I was getting killed through everything.

I’m sure it will get better through a gazillion updates and the sweats will get bored and we will get better SBMM as more casual players buy the game. Good news though, most sweaty f*****s are grinding XP and guns in BOP6 which means WZ feels much better.

I've given it a try on gamepass, multiplayer is sweaty as and as said above, levelling weapons takes forever.

Zombies is fun though!
