Decided to treat myself to the EDC Clio I have been hankering after for a while and had almost given up looking for a nice LY one (Car dealers - ugh - amirite?)
Then I came on here to remove a for sale post for another car I put up, as it had sold and @Lewi86 has posted an ad for this car - and to be fair I was almost sold on the spot. A trip out to view it and meet the owner confirmed that it needed to come and live with me and my harem of Renault chod.
It's unusual for me to buy something that doesnt need work, or that isnt cheap for some reason - so its made it a bit more special. So far it hasn't disappointed. What a car!
Pictured here with my other Clio <3 (both are due to appear in some YouTube films quite soon, preview here )
Credit to Renault Connected for this image (which was a lot harder to get than you might imagine haha)
I chucked some performance brake pads at it and took it to Cadwell for a bit of experimentation - it's simply too fast to explore the limits on the roads properly.
What a car! These things are unreal.
Future plans - well, maybe a little remap, possibly i'd be tempted to the 4-pot Brembo conversion also just as much for aesthetics as performance. Thats about it due to my other ongoing car items... If you prefer more home spannering, rust and soul crushing torment in your project reads, try my other threads:
1986 Renault 9 Turbo
1990 Renault 21 Quadra

I think this is my third project thread on here now :) one day i'll learn my lesson. Maybe. This is Alex the 9 (Numberplate D570 ALX... ALX = Alex = how original :D ) I first saw this car in 2001 at Shakey, it was owned by one of the marshals there. It was his dads car before that. At the time...
