So with the new rears in place and a test drive to work this morning,no knocks bangs etc.
I have spoken to Jasper at BC racing about setting up the rear seperate shock spring set up and this is what he has said, anyone done there set up this way also with bc's?
"When setting the preload on a separate spring and damper for example on the rear you not only need to adjust the spring perch but the damper length also. This is done by first setting the rear ride height using the spring perch and adjusters, once this is set you can then add a little extra spring preload by using a jack to jack up the rear arm where the spring sits, we recommend roughly 5-7mm. Then leaving the jack in position you then need to thread the damper either in or out of it's bottom mount so the bolt holes line up and it bolts through with ease. This should mean your rear spring is now preloaded correctly and when on full droop there is no movement of the spring in between its mounts"
