I know there are some super duper hardcore primers, paints, rust treatments etc.

But what direct to rust paints - all in one - are there to just tart up a rear beam with surface rust.

Think I've got kurust and zinc primer in the garage to use up - so die grind the crustier parts back, kurust, zinc primer then what?

My 182 was done by the previous owner. She used Bilt Hamber stuff and I have to say - even after 4+ years it’s still looking fresh. Definitely done its job!

You can guess which car this is for............

Brush on seems less messy, but aerosol would get into the bits I can't with a brush.

Por 15 is meant to be decent stuff.

This place isn't far from us Dan, in Haydock

Doesn't por 15 need a long curing time in perfect weather?

Farmcraft did a video about it and compared it to another rust proofing paint and went with the cheaper one because it was just as resistant to weather, not so much impacts but went on easier and didn't need to be at a certain temp etc

POR-15 Rust Preventative can be sprayed or brushed on to provide a rock hard, yet flexible, non-porous coating that will not shrink, peel, or crack. It is totally resistant to road salt, petrol, battery acid, etc., and actually dries harder in humid damp conditions.

Not sure but it sounds easy enough to use.
