How bad, they are on my list to own. My mate absolutely adores his and it's been super reliable for him over the last few years
Haven't really seen many that haven't suffered. Really similar to McLaren. They used aluminium to keep the weight down and in 2020s+ we still can't make cars corrosion proof....

I know there’s a problem with them due to different metals in a bracket around the wheel arch causing the aluminium to oxidise which makes the arches bubble. It was supposed to be fixed in the facelift IIRC but a lot of cars have had paintwork warranty repairs. Not sure if there are other issues too?

They can but choose not to, because then you would never buy another car or parts ever again

He's taken on a project for a friend's uncle. It's been parked up in a garage for around 40 years. It's low mileage at around 35k, has a big valve head etc. But the mice have had fun, and there's a LOT of bodywork to do
