Theft deterrents - steering wheel locks, etc.

It seemed keeping the car out of sight is a good deterrent

Our Regular postman commented on my car yesterday as it was parked on the drive. He asked me if I've just got it....my reply

"no I've had it six years now" :ROFLMAO:

That invisibility cloak seems to be working wonders
Had a few delivery drivers ask about mine as it's parked on the drive, next to the front door. While I like people asking questions about it, there is that glint of paranoia about it.

They are 99% most likely genuinely interested in it. It's the remaining 1% that you don't know about.

I was doing the drive way shuffle the other night and my car was out on the road while I shifted her car.

A young scroate rode past on a bike and shouted nice car mate, I just said thanks. Not two minutes later he came back down the street really slowly having a good look at the car and also inside the garage as the door was open. Great timing.

I hope you stared at him when he came back down the street.

I use a disclok but for determined folk its not a massive barrier.
Mate of mine had his car nicked with one on - they just used a battery operated angle grinder and cut it off.................Disclok gave him a new one for free though when he sent the cut one back to them.............Lol

Maybe he was just interest?

I've been trying to work out if I want 19" or 20" wheels for my Audi and have frequently stopped by others to see what wheel/tyre they're running. Might get shouted at at some point.
