The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

You chose the wrong first car

Mine was a 1982 2.0 Sierra….it went everywhere sideways 😎

It was less a choice and more a “one of Dad’s friends is selling this and it would make a good first car” IIRC 😂

What a heap of s**t that car was. Although to be fair, at that time most cars over ten years old that had gone round the clock were on borrowed time.

I saw a silver W reg Vauxhall Tigra last night. It looked pretty clean! It also had a disklok on it, so they care about it, otherwise it would be gone in two seconds. I didn't get a picture of it as I was driving. I haven't seen one in years!

There's a white MK1 one near me that I see on most days when walking the dog. It's parked on a drive in front of an omega, neither have which have moved in more than 6 years. Sunroof is open on it too.

Then there's a Mk2 parked opposite. But they have a solar batter charger and a rain cover over that one.

That's a shame! It looks like the white one was a project as they didn't come in white (that I know of) I think they're cool! That one looks like a mini Vectra Super Touring!

South Wales porsche owners club eh? How do I join?!

Don't get too excited! :ROFLMAO: It's basically a FaceAche page that my friend started a handful of years back! He sold his Porsche and bought an Audi R8. And regretted it. :ROFLMAO: There are quite a few members but the page doesn't appear massively busy on Facebook. More often than not, we just get each other on WhatsApp and arrange smaller meets / drives of 4-5 cars rather than getting 50 cars all together.

Crazy amount of money spent building the stands at KBB compared to the Motorhome show last week.
It was a nightmare to build, all the large stands blocked all the isles with their pallets of building materials, none of us could do our jobs properly, people damn near building entire houses to display their products.

I much prefer the car shows I spend most of my time talking to the owners, one let me have a few blips of the throttle on his 80's Ferrari 308 GTS, that was a good day at work.

Couldn’t believe the size of some of them for a few kitchen taps.

The crowds in both are night and day. Motorhome show demographic was 60+ with all the mobility scooters used, the kitchen show everyone in their 30s and 40s in designer suits.
