1 year, 5 months and 7 days - the time it took for me to end up back behind the wheel of another Renaultsport hot hatch—and it feels right.

Even better, the car seems to be in on some sort of joke… first glance at the trip computer and it’s proudly showing 51.9 mpg and a predicted range of 522 miles (faulty fuel sensor/float unit?)

So I guess this is a ‘hello again’ but also a timely reminder of French quirks.

No, it's aware of the current fuel prices, so it's converted itself to a K4J 😂

Jokes aside, she's a beaut, congrats!

A typical first week in my ownership (I’m the same with any car I buy) time spent getting all of the paperwork in order, in excess of 100 different invoices in this case.

All typed out into a word document too for easy viewing.

The cars booked in for a thorough going over later this month, comprising of -
Cam-belt & Dephaser
Auxiliary belt
Spark plugs
Oil & filter
Brake fluid
Coolant flush

And the expansion tanks is looking a little tired and yellowing, so a new one is also on the list to freshen up the engine bay!
