Mk5 Golf GTI :)
Got it ready to sell, maybe....
Is this compatible with the regular f4r? Did my oil today and this made a bit of a mess.
Mine was also missing until someone on here pointed it out. You’ve no excuse as you’ve owned that car from new, haven’t you? 😂New rubber/foam strip at the front of the engine bay.
Completely forgot about this until I saw one on Matt's car at the weekend. I don't think I've had one on for years?

I'm putting the blame squarely on it being at a garage at some point and it being removed then! I wouldn't have removed it and left it off....Mine was also missing until someone on here pointed it out. You’ve no excuse as you’ve owned that car from new, haven’t you? 😂

Yeah - missing those stickers. Genuine Renault item too - which is surprising as it doesn't have the hole for the bonnet open warning button.Your slam panel has been off and replaced as I am sure I remember it missing the Renault stickers.
I've had my car 5 years now and this is the first time I've heard of this 🤣New rubber/foam strip at the front of the engine bay.

Out with the shitty Pipercross foam air filter and in with the Ramair.
Found it much easier to fit with the battery temporarily removed (probably not essential) - but glad I did as the right-side battery retainer clip was very loose.
Me being me and finding a rattle-can of Hammerite knocking about - I had to tart-up the two battery brackets and airbox support to look a bit nicer at least.
A bit of wire-brushing and wipe down for these...

Got around to fitting the rear GAZ Golds today, I know you need to fettle the inner arch/body on the NSR but holy s**t I didn't realise how much you need to beat the living s**t out of it. View attachment 1786386
Yeah rather than the old divorced shock and spring setup, the GAZ Golds are a true coilover. OSR has enough space between the spring and body that you could house a small CS.net forum member. Is that because they are coil on shock design you had to get the hammer out?
High comp pistons, ported inlets & 182 manifold + mapping at EFI PartsNice, what’s it had done to achieve that?
Amazing figures!High comp pistons, ported inlets & 182 manifold + mapping at EFI Parts
Everything else is standard including the cams and injectors so it's a bit of a freak
To resolve selector leak. Did you pull the box out or buy one of those kits that allow the box to stay in situ?Busy times for the Jean Ragnotti:
Just want to put a new clutch in the car and then she should be good for a while!
