Was just over in Auckland, New Zealand and came across a silver MK1 clio v6 #635 forsale. So if anyone is keeping track of where v6s are, heres one foe you
As not being in europe, I was wonder where it might be possible to obtain a french country of origin sticker to put on my clio? Seen some that are either just the oval sticker with the letter F or oval stick with french flag and the letter F

has there been any fix issued from Renault for the Mk1 172 with suspension knocking when turning? Located in OZ, but trying to get Renault here todo something or even admit it is a problem is something of a challenge, so wondering what is being done about it oversesa. Ideas where the knokcing...

I always have the same feeling with my car after it goes in for a service.. feels so much quicker, then after a week, seems sluggish. Doubt thered be a new ECU upgrade out here in OZ every time the car gets serviced, so maybe some parameters in the ECU are reset back to factory defaults

Ive a set of Goodyear Egale F1, GSD3s on my Mk1 172, and quite frankly, they suck majorly. Definately download grade in handling from the previous Michelin Pilot Sport SXs. Very floaty/boaty feel to the car. My advise, dont get the Goodyears!
When my Michelin Pilot Sport SX 195/50/15s wore out on my MK1, replaced them with 195/50/15 Goodyear Eagle F1s GSd3. Have to say, there was a definate downgrade in hanlding/perfomance of the car.. Very "boaty", "floaty" feel to the car now. Will be getting rid of these tyres soon and do not feel...
Definately the 172 is a girls car. The image over heard in OZ, is that is basically the same size as the cars all other girls tend to drive (mirage, barina etc)
Im in OZ too.. recently replaced my rear brake pads at the 40,000km service.. I suspect the rears wear will more than normally excepted due to some rear brake bias. I just considered it normall wear and tear.. tho hurt having to pay $180 to have em replaced. Im surpised Vicki there customer...

ok. correct my understanding if i am wrong, but isnt the 172 ecu suppose to learn about the way the engine is running etc. so if for example you do replace the intake system with a viper or bmc cda, it will automatically adjust the fueling to suit and not allow to run lean/rich due to the twin...
Ok... theres a good chance Ill be moving from aus to UK for 6months for work. So, my question. whats a reasonable area to rent a place near london ( i gather prety expensive right in).. i guess 30mins travel time in hrmm. guess thats all i need to know atm
