cause the white nova wheels had a048r's on them, I couldn't get any heat in them in the wet. To the point the fronts only went up 1psi in T.P. after a 35-40min session. The rears were touch cold. So I put the uniroyal rain expert wet tyres on... sods law is that it dryed up a fair bit in the...
Cheers Andy. Think if I get a few minutes, gonna finish off putting the bucket in the passenger.
At brands I had a guy come up to me and say 'they are expensive seats aren't they, is that why you have one' Lol... my simple reply was 'no it's all I could get out the car before the police turned...
So as I got a track day at brands tomorrow and the weather was dry, I used the time to get a bucket seat from the nova into the clio. The standard seat is soooo heavy!
You can see the weight
I also took out the cd changed under the seat:)
Have made it so I can move it forward or back if I...
Direct from think mate. I don't have any problems with the line. Had another look last night and it's the flare nuts fault. It seems to have ridden slightly over the flared part so doesn't seal right on the new lines. The old one has re sealed though. Think i'm gonna go for a cup master...
So fitted a new system to the car, this went pretty easily. Looks great, sounds nice and not too intrusive at all:)
Offending exhaust bird sh....
I then moved on to fitting these... Rear came off and went on with no problems. Front came off easily too, however when I did the new...
I've just fitted some mocal brake lines to the clio. However the fronts ones don't fit right. When you do up the pipe to hose nut it bottoms out before the movement stops in the flare nut. So it would leak if I left it fitted like this. Is this a common problem? Think I may cuy the std fitting...
My ABS light is on. I know why it is on as the rear sensor is naffed. I'm planning on losing the ABS anyhow. I've seen that when the abs is connected but not working it reverts to 50/50 split, of course this is never good. However I also read that if you remove one sensor it should keep breaking...
So this turned up. At first I wondered if I had bought something random on ebay!
I opened it half expecting Warren G to pop out. I found this instead.
It's a BTB system in 2.5" Mandrel bent and upto there usual standards! It sounds good too when I make car noises through it.
Some trick...
Just a quick question about tyre pressures on track. I'm interested to hear peoples findings on what they run T.P. wise on there clios on track. Mainly 195/50R15 but others useful too.
Something in this format would be nice:
Car: ph1 172
Tyre: A048R, M compound, 195/50R15
T.P.: F. 25 R27...
Yeah they work.
Basically there after someone with a single lambda setup.
Ferrett they have your one already in stock to send out. Mine should arrive tuesday as I'm no longer going there as I actually got a twin lambda cat. Had a good speak with him on the phone:D
I've said that the decats...
An update...
clio 16 has a late ph1 so they now need another... i'm booked in on thursday with my earlier ph1:) Gonna see about a de-cat too. I'm sure there would be enough interest!
Let me know how you get on. If not i'll take mine off and compare it. I go out to renaults alot that have had this problem. It's usually after a garage has done some work on it.
