As a rule that is correct. I have an ITG panel currently ;)
But from what I've heard the Maxogen does actually work (bloody should with that price tag!), particularly if the cars mapped to suit. So I am tempted to get one to make the most of other mods. I'm quite happy to stand corrected if...
Getting seriously tempted to go this route myself. Mine would be the same apart from sports-cat instead of decat (I already have that along with cat back exhaust).
Thing is I'm not paying full price for a maxogen so it depends on a second-hand one coming along...
Ali - does the maxogen make...
Theres a squeeking noise when I reverse, usually with some lock on. Just read an old thread that suggests that this is a sign of worn front brake pads. Is this true?
I think my pads are on their way out anyway, so this would make sense. (I'm checking the pads at the weekend)
Thinking of...
When on the slowest setting my wipers sometimes stick in an extra 'wipe' randomly (which ain't too bad, but is a bit odd)
When I use the screen wash sprayers the wipers do a few 'wipes' in quick succession - very well; does the job gets the screen nice and clear - and then stop, only to do...
Hmmm... I thought as much. Mines never had a shunt but I think I have another explanation:
Just had look in the documents - the cars original bonnet was replaced by the dealership when it was bought new due to a 'paint fault'. Shame they didn't put it on straight!
Right. Cheers Edde. I'd assumed that they would have done it in place tbh.
Just wanted to have a few facts so I don't get fobbed off when I ask some choice questions tomorrow.
Have you heard of Clio bonnets being a bit skew-wif before?
In order to push out a dent in a 172 bonnet does the bonnet have to be taken off, or is it left on the car?
Reason I'm asking is recently I had a small dent (caused by the previous owner pushing the bonnet shut - in the middle at the front) removed by an accident repair place. Today I noticed...
^^I'll be up for a revisit once I've had inlet manifold matching and a remap done.
Its not exactly local for me...but I had an awesome drive back today on the A roads, so f**k it! Four wheel drifts on one slippery uphill/twisty section
Good meet btw Donny :D Nice to put some names...
