Can't tell you for sure - I had it put on at K-tec at the same time as a K-tec stealth cat back. The whole system definately made the car feel more responsive/rev hungry. I reckon the sports cat does make it louder and more boomy/resonant because I found the K-tec stealth back box too boomy at...
